Safety
Childsafetystandards.
DiceGather has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page sets out what is prohibited, how to report a concern, and what we do when we receive one.
Last updated: September 18, 2026.
These standards apply to the DiceGather app, published on Google Play as DiceGather: Board Game Meetups and on the App Store as DiceGather, and to everything users post or send in it.
1. An app for adults only
DiceGather is for people aged 18 and over. It helps adults arrange real-life tabletop game meetups. Anyone under 18 may not create an account, and accounts we find to belong to a minor are removed. See our Terms of Service.
2. What is prohibited
We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. This includes, without limitation:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video, text, or link that sexualizes a minor, including drawn, generated, or edited material;
- grooming, soliciting, or any sexualized contact with a minor, or attempting to arrange such contact;
- sextortion, trafficking, or any other exploitation of a minor;
- content that praises, promotes, or gives instructions for any of the above.
There are no exceptions. This applies to profiles, photos, meetups, group and direct chats, feed posts, and comments.
3. How to report a concern
In the app: every profile, meetup, feed post, comment, and chat message has a Report option. Choose the reason that fits, for example Underage user or Inappropriate content, and add details if you can. You can also block the person so they can no longer interact with you.
By email: write to support@dicegather.com. You do not need an account to do this.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or police first.
4. What we do
- We review child-safety reports ahead of all other reports.
- When we become aware of CSAE or CSAM, we remove the content and permanently ban the account responsible. We take measures to stop banned people from returning under a new account.
- We preserve the relevant information and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the competent national law-enforcement authority, as required by applicable law.
- We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement investigating offences against children.
5. Compliance
DiceGather complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, and with the child safety policies of Google Play and the App Store.
6. Child safety contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety and CSAM prevention is support@dicegather.com.
